HOCKEY
Fenn's varsity hockey team hosted Fay School on Feb. 10, the second meeting between the two teams this season outside of tournament play.  Fenn dropped the first game, 3-1, on Jan. 22, but Coach Derek Boonisar's boys were set on redemption this time around. Peter Nelson opened the scoring in the first period, converting a goalmouth feed from Ian Moore. Henry Peters made it 2-0 with Julian Yang and Eoin Morrissey picking up the helpers. Yang had three assists on the day. In the second stanza, Nico Bowden made it 3-1 on a blast from the top of the face-off circle. Morrissey later scored to make it 4-2. In the final period, Harrison Hill connected after a nice feed from Nico Martinez to close out the scoring in the 5-2victory.

Ben Ferrell started the game between the pipes and played very steadily. He made two beautiful saves late in the first period to keep Fay at bay. Andrew Vona and Nico Carere also saw time in net and played well. Nick Beck had a good game on defense.  Up front, Charlie Desmarais, Brendan Peters, Alex Brown, and Ben LaPlante all played well.

"It was our most complete game of the season," said Coach Boonisar. "We were strong on the puck and played hard below the face-off dots at both ends of the ice." It was the second straight victory for Fenn, which now owns a record of 4-4 outside of tourney action. Coming Up: Fenn varsity hockey hosts Rivers on Feb. 19.

JV HOCKEY
Fenn's JV hockey team tied Carroll School, 2-2, on Feb. 11 to bring its record to 1-2-1. Up next: Fenn JV hosts Park School on Feb. 18.

VARSITY BASKETBALL
Varsity basketball looked to get back on track on Feb. 11 when they hosted St. John's Prep in a high scoring contest. Fenn trailed 42-33 at the half but turned the tables in the second half and escaped with a 63-58 victory. Max Byron registered a game high 22 points. Lucas Lisman and Owen Johnson each chipped in 11. The win over St. John's Prep avenged a loss to SJP earlier this season. On Feb. 17, Fenn lost to Worcester Academy 56 – 47. Max Byron (15) and Lucas Lisman (13) were the leading scorers. The varsity basketball record now stands at 8-4 outside of tourney action. Next up for Coach Bradley's team: Fenn at Lawrence Academy on Feb. 26, Fenn's season finale.

JV BASKETBALL
Fenn JV basketball hosts BBN on February 19.

THIRDS BASKETBALL
Fenn Gold plays at Park on Feb.19, while Fenn Blue plays BBN on Feb. 19.
