Undefeated and unwavering, Fenn’s varsity soccer team capped off a remarkable 10-0-1 season on Saturday by claiming the championship in the 43rd Annual New England Junior Private School Soccer Tournament. The prestigious 12-team tournament, held at Eaglebrook School in Deerfield, features five 25-minute games before the finals. This year, Fenn went undefeated through the tournament, defeating Cardigan Mountain, Rectory, Hillside, Eaglebrook, and Shore in the opening rounds. Fenn beat Fessenden to win the tournament title, its second in five years.

On Wednesday, Fenn earned a 4-1 victory over visiting Solomon Schechter, thanks to two quick early goals by Jacob Chui and Ethan Mullen. On Thursday, Fenn spotted Shady Hill a 2-0 advantage that the boys in Blue-and-Gold could not erase, as Fenn fell on the short end of a 2-1 score. On Friday, Fenn traveled to Pike School to wrap up the three-game set. Pike scored four goals in each half, while Izak Murphy claimed Fenn’s lone goal in the 8-1 loss.
